Push anything into Folia.
Selected text becomes a note. A YouTube link becomes a video. Any other URL becomes a bookmark. Two ways to send it — pick whichever fits your device.
Bookmarklet — works in any desktop browser
Drag the button below to your bookmarks bar. From then on, click it on any page to send the page (and any text you have selected) straight to Folia.
Step 1 — Copy the bookmarklet code
javascript:void(0)- Click Copy above to copy the bookmarklet code.
- Open your bookmarks bar (Ctrl+Shift+B / ⌘+Shift+B), right-click it and choose Add bookmark / Add page.
- Set the name to Save to Folia, delete any existing URL and paste the copied code.
- Save. On any page, click the bookmark to send it straight to Folia.
You need to be logged into Folia in this browser. The bookmarklet runs locally — nothing is sent anywhere except your own Folia account.
Share sheet — Android, ChromeOS, Windows
Once Folia is installed as a PWA, it shows up in your phone’s share sheet. Selected text or a tapped link → Share → Folia.
- Install Folia as a PWA from the home page (look for the Install prompt or your browser’s “Install” menu item).
- In any app, select text or copy a link, then tap the OS Share button.
- Pick Folia from the share sheet. A Folia confirmation page opens, then auto-closes.
iOS limitation: Apple does not let installed PWAs register as system share targets. Use the iOS Shortcut below instead — it appears natively in the iOS share sheet.
iOS Shortcut — appears in the iPhone share sheet
A one-time setup in the Shortcuts app. After that, tap Share on any page or YouTube video → pick Save to Folia → done.
