How to convert images to PDF

Drop your JPG or PNG files into the box above — you can add more in a second pass and they queue up after the ones already there. Choose a page size, then press Create PDF. Each image becomes one page, in the order the files are listed, and the finished PDF downloads straight to your device.

Choosing the page size

Fit to image makes every page exactly the size of the image on it, edge to edge, with no margin. That is what you want for photo albums, comic pages, screenshots or anything that should not have white space around it — but pages will vary in size if your images do. A4 and Letter force a consistent printable page and centre each image inside it with a half-inch margin, scaling it down if it does not fit. Use those when the PDF is going to be printed or submitted somewhere that expects standard paper — A4 for most of the world, Letter for the US and Canada.

Why bundle images as a PDF at all

Because almost every upload form, email thread and filing system would rather have one document than eleven loose photos. Photographing each page of a form, a receipt book or a set of certificates with your phone is quick; sending eleven separate JPGs is not. A single PDF arrives in order, opens the same way on every device, prints as a unit and is far harder to lose half of. Conversion runs entirely in your browser, so photos of your ID, salary slips or medical paperwork never get uploaded anywhere.

Frequently asked questions

What image formats can I convert?+

JPG and PNG. These cover phone photos, screenshots and almost every scan. Transparent areas in a PNG are placed on a white background, since PDF pages are not transparent.

How do I control the order of the pages?+

Pages follow the order the files appear in the list, which is the order you added them. Add files in the sequence you want, or clear the list and re-add them if you need to change it.

Should I pick A4, Letter, or fit to image?+

Pick "Fit to image" when the PDF is for reading on screen and you want no white borders. Pick A4 or Letter when it will be printed or uploaded somewhere that expects standard paper — each image is centred on the page with a small margin.

Will the images lose quality?+

No. Images are embedded at their original resolution rather than re-encoded. That means the PDF can be large if your photos are — run it through Compress PDF afterwards if you need to meet a size limit.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?+

No. The PDF is assembled in your browser, so your images never leave your device. No account, no watermark, no limit on how many you convert.
